Hi, everyone! I`m a new member and I would like to ask if you can tell me what is the maximum temperature that sermaloy J coating can whitstand, or if you know anything usefull about sermaloy J. Thanks!

Sermaloy J is one of serveral thermal barrier coatings (TBC) avalable to coat turbine and diesel engines parts. On the internet there are several companies that proviide this system. Sermaloy J is able temperature up to 1000 degrees C. If you require further information ASM has several books on the subject of TBC's.
