Dear chemical engineers,,

Can somebody please give me some examples of industrial processes that are well described by the following type of reactions (beside the alkylation of butene with isobutane)?

1. A + B -> P DH1 < 0
2. A + P -> R DH2 < 0

thank you!

What is DH1 and DH2?

Good luck,
Latexman

Hi Latexman,

is the heat of reaction (both reactions are exothermic)

with regards,

Acetylene + H2 --> Ethylene + H2 --> Ethane

Good luck,
Latexman
