We have a gas stream that contains sticky particles/droplets that we need to remove. In separating the particles we don't want to loose too much pressure.
Options we have considered are:
1. Demisters (chevron plate type): Currently this option looks like the best option at this stage, because it will be cost effective and easy to install (it could be installed in our knockout drum), but I am not sure what configuration to use.
2. Wire mesh demisters: The problem with these are that they could block very easily.
3. Cyclones:: This could work very well, but are very expensive. It could also have a high pressure drop.

Thank you very much!
