selective generated dimensions?

Hi
I use "generate dimension" for auto generation of the dimensions.
But I get ALL dimensions related to sketch parameters/constraints . I'm going to work on hundreds of drawings like this.
Is there any way that I'll name the parameters I need in drawing as say PAR1,PAR2...and only these dimensions will be created instead of all..
