HI!!! I need some help... Can somebody tell me what I need to do in Microstation so that I can select all the elements that overlaps or touches by a text....?

Thanks for the reply MECHAMB, I am new in microstation and what I want to do is to put those part of contour lines which overlaps by a contour text. It's damn hard doing it manually.
Is there any other way I can do this in a more speedy way.

Any advice will do

ArtLuther,
Couple options for you. If you are using a newer version of MicroStation V8 you could create a Text Style that has background enabled. This will allow you to place text and have it appear like the elements behind the text are clipped without actually clipping the elements.

Option 2 would be to download CivTools from Bentley Communities website and use the label contour command which will place the text and clip it at the same time.

See screen shots...
