My team is doing a project which contains a linear programming problem (managing student living space, which includes taking preferences into account when assigning rooms and roommates). I am a Visual Basic programmer (IE by training, which is why I recognized the linear programming aspect of the project). What I'd like to find is a linear programming module - probably Excel based - that we could drop into our Visual Basic / SQL Server application.<br>
