I am trying to add a projected section view to a drawing.
No matter where I draw the section line, the section view
is blank. I can select and move the section view, but
nothing is visible (no lines, part geometry, hatching,
etc.).

Any idea why I'm having this problem with this part?

Thanks,
Scott

I think you are not drawing line on particular view
correctly.

Guru's answer sounds right. You willneed to check that your section line drawn on the view that you think it is. Model view frames can be a lot bigger than the dieplayed contents of the view, with the result that views can overlap. I have often sketched over a view, only to find that the sketch is actually in a different view frame.

To ensure that you are sketching on the correct view, you can select it in the manager tree, right-click and lock the view focus. You can also do this from the drawing sheet itself, but it is not easy if the view frames overlap.

As an alternative, just try pulling all your views apart while you work on them.

Good luck!

Try Auxilliary View.
