SECONDARY SIDE OF TRANSFORMER OCPD FOR AN AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH LOCATION

Scenario: 2 rooms one room housing ATS sw's other room housing Transformers and secondary fused disconnects for the ATS conductor protection. Can these Fused discos be in a separate room per NEC?

It depends.
There are exceptions allowed to the rule calling for the disconnect to be within site of the device to be isolated (ATS).
Kirk type interlocks may be one solution.
Check with your local AHJ before spending any money.

this is an old building and they are trying to update the building with emergency power, I put all the ATS's in one room along with the emergency panels, I left all the transformers in a separate room along with all fused disconnects and normal panels. The transformers some are for emergency power and some are for normal power BUT I grouped them all together in one room. (see picture) If the power was from a secondary unit substation w a built in xmer and then dist sect w ocpd and the ATS was in another room it is the same situation JUST not part and parcel of separate electrical apparatus I don't see it being an issue.

No this is not a service the normal service room is adjacent to these two electrical rooms. The emergency power source and feeds are from 2 buildings away in the generator room service switchgear room. These 2 rooms are NEW for ATS equipment and misc panels from normal and emergency equipment. I grouped all transformers into one room. two transformers are for emergency power (TR-3/4) one is for normal power (T-1) and the other two transformers are for future use. (T-5/6) not sure what power source they will be from.
