Good Day!

I am looking for a sealant; the following are the properties of the sealant:

- it must be capable of preventing H2S gas permeation (gas proof)

- it must not deteriorate when exposed to H2S gas(~160 ppm)

- It must be in paste form (like mastic) and can be easily applied over concrete

- it should be capable of resisting temperature (~50C)

- it should not deteriorate on exposure to sunlight (for short periods – a few days)

If there is such a sealant out there, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

Regards
dano

I forgot to include the intended application earlier.

The sealant is to be used in concrete wall penetrations for cables and ducts.

Sealants formulated with primarily butyl rubber or EPDM would both hold up to H2S. Both should be available in formulations that could be applied to concrete. Butyl may be cheaper and a better gas seal, while EPDM will hold up to sunlight and general weathering better.
