Does anyone have any recommendations or references stating the lighting level (min f-c) recommended for school bus parking lot?

Thanks

As opposed to a retail parking lot? Or any other parking lot? Why would a school bus parking lot be any different?

Doesn't a local ordinance dictate your requirements (0.5 fc) or such?

I agree with Twinkie, check the local ordinance or if this school property the school board may have a requirement. My parish is expanding its parking lot and the township has minimum lighting requirement.

Meanwhile, if you can find anything here is guidance from AASHTO related to park & ride facilities.

Is it a "parking lot" for the school buses? (Then, no kids and the problem is simple security and local (on-site) maintenance (maybe) after hours. )

Is it for a school where the buses are loaded and unloaded? Then there "might be" some local requirement for light levels hidden deep inside some bureaucrat's handbook-to-keep-schools-expensive manual.
