Saving a copy of rendered wiev

Dear all,
When I create a model I can easily save a copy(PDF) as it is but when I render it and try to save it as PDF there is nothing on the PDF page.As JPG copy there is a small copy on the lower left corner.Can anyone tell me the reason and solution for this problem.

Go to the view pull down menu and select: model setup>render setup. Go to the output tab and change "render to" to say jpeg or tiff. I set the size to 1024 square and get a good image.
