SAP2000 & AutoCAD

hey guys, i'm new here and wanna try this out

i need to analyze a cross section, and be able to display stresses in 2D
i tried drawing a simple rectangle and added a region
the i save it and try to import it but nothing happens
i cant figure out what i'm doing wrong, i remember doing somthing like this when i took finite elements but i cant seem to remember how to work this at all (
