Running solidworks on an amd chip

If it is an older K-6 chip (200-600mhz range), there is a patch that you must install from AMD. If it is a newer chip (700+mhz), you won't have any problems.
What really matters is what version/service pack of SW you are trying to install with what OS. "Happy the Hare at morning for she is ignorant to the Hunter's waking thoughts."
