I've been to the manual, and the help screens in the software, but am still having trouble figuring out how to use the LCD/pushbutton interface to a ladderlogic program with an AB Micrologix 1100 series B. I have no AB experience, so all the addressing and bit mapping is new to me. I've played around with the software enough to be beginner familiar with it, but the LCD setup has me stumped.
I would like to be able to allow a parameter to be turned on/off at the PLC that would basically close a contact in the logic (EIC). I may be making it harder than it is, but I cannot find any clear description of how to actually use this function without prior knowledge of the s/w and h/w.
Appreciate any plain english tips....
