I can't get a 2d drawing of my wire diagram. The program seems to be missing the wiring button. I have routing turned on but not everything is showing up. I have been talking with SolidWorks and they can't seem to figure it out. SolidWorks 2007 SP4

Maybe I am misunderstanding your post, but... Routing is part of and assembly function, not a drawing function. You want 2D schematics, look at Visio add-in from microsoft.

You can bring your assembly routing into a drawing and it acts just like a model in SW does.

Hi NSPS,

Are you trying to create a 2D harness manufacturing drawing?

Is so try:

Click Routing > Electrical > Harness > Wiring Summary

select the route sub assemblies

and click Open Drawing

Thats my problem when I goto Routing>Electrical>
There is no harness command.

Resolved via the KB at SW... You can search very easily by typing what the problem is in the search bar... I found this:

Solution Id: S-015672

Question: In SolidWorks 2007 SP4.0, the harness menu is missing from the Routing > Electrical menu. What can be done to resolve this problem?

Answer: There was a problem with the harness menu not being present on some installations of SolidWorks 2007 SP4.0. This occurred with the 32-bit version of SolidWorks. It did not occur with SolidWorks X64. This problem can be resolved by installing the Hot Fix attached to this Solution: HotFix_384858.exe.

You will have to search this Solution up yourself to find get teh hotfix.exe.

Please use the KB first as its a very useful tool for SW.
