LS,

For the design of an accurate clamp-on system, we are looking for measuring data of the roughness of propellor shafts. Does anyone know where these data (Rz = average peak-peak and distance between peaks) can be found? Or does someone have these data available?

Thanks,
DYV

Here is the data for Aqualloy Shafting. The numbers are very similar for all others like Sealloy, Aquamet and others. These numbers are worse case and in practice are . somewhat better

You might want to give Western Branch Metals a call for more specific information.
