I have an application that requires using a rotating joint in a water pipe system. Existing 'Rotary Unions' are large and expensive, and probably oversized for my application (slow speed and moderate flowrate, not full rotation). Does anyone have any suggestions on a different kind of swivel or rotating joint? Thanks -

Also try Johnson Rotary Joints or Barco Swivel Joints.

You should define the flow, pressure and pressure if you want good help.

These may be two big for you, but elbows used on cement pumps are very cheap around $A100 for a 100mm one.

Thanks for all the advice. Superswivels is a good option. EdDanzer, apologies for not being too specific. Flow conditions are room temp water, 3/4" tube size, approx. 8 gpm, low pressure (~5 psi).

Try using a sprinkler head, or similar plumbing from a hardware store.
