Hello ,
Among various wear marks in rolling bearings , there is one that resembles fretting corrosion of outer ring with housing bore , but in this case ( see images attached ) cannot be the case , since fitting of outer ring with housing bore seems to be tight .
Bearing details : 6310-ZC3 , housing bore ( actual dimension) = 109,990 mm ( average), but not in good shape in all the way axially. Housing bore normaly should have been H6 or H7 tolerance.
The bearing has been loaded axially as from application.
Can anyone tell the reason for the brownish - black marks on bearing outer ring and housing bore ?
The marks are displaced axially.
Thanks
George V
