i'm trying to simulate a simple roller type cam-follower using motion skeletons but i cant make the rolling connection between the cam and follower. any hints how to do it?
heres a pic:

I threw together something that should work. I wasn't
really careful about the references, that is one thing
you have to watch out for with motion skeletons.

The cam-follower connection was made in the mechanism
interface, might be possible to use one of the standard
assembly constraints.

You need AAX to do these.

Let me know if you have any questions.

EDIT:

I can't get the upload tool to work. I'll try to figure
it out but
if I can't PM me your email and I'll email it (only 270
kb)

EDIT2:

I think mcadcentral is having some site issues, so I'll
try upload again later

Finally figured out that my browser was chopping the URL. No excuses, it's not Monday, it's not that early...

Anyway, I hope this helps. Let me know if you have questions.

Thank you, actually i made something similar but follower is not rolling on the cam, only sliding. how to add the rolling effect?

If you're only making an animation you could put an equation driven motor on the roller part.

i want to do kinematic(velocity-acceleration) analysis.
thanks for the suggestion anyway.
