Constructing an infiltration gallery in a very active New Zealand river. Know how we plan to do it but interested in any cunning plans especially around dewatering solutions in a such unstable environment needing excavation to 3m below water level.

The scope of this is well beyond the few details that you have presented. You have no information on soil types, elevations, or plant capacity.

If the soil is sandy, this type of infiltration may not even work as the sand will foul the collection pipes.

A well screen installed with directional drilling may also be attractive. Have you considered this alternative.

Agreed, complete lack of useful information. What are you asking, about pump systems / excavations / ground dewatering systems?

It is a capital mistake to theorise before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts. (Sherlock Holmes - A Scandal in Bohemia.)
