I have been using the Risa to Revit link and on the bi directional cyling I loose my section set assignments in RISA. Is there a way to preserve the section set assignments for the elements that have not been changed on the Revit side?
For example after cyling established, I noticed that the section sets assigned in RISA become unassigned. The shapes all become member specific assignemnt. I still have the section sets, but I have to reassign them in RISA.

Unfortunately Revit doesn't have Section Sets in the same way that RISA does. So when you go from RISA into Revit the section set becomes a shape; and then when you round-trip the shape back to RISA the shape is now assigned directly.

RISA does have the power to preserve the Section Sets but the shape is now a directy assigned shape rather then a section set and you will have to re-assign it if you want to keep section sets.

You may try using the "Select or Unselect based on Criteria" to help identify like members quicker in order to reassign the section sets.

RISAFloor handles this case a lot better by clicking the "Redesign" button in the link- the shape is either part of it's orginal Design list or it is an explict shape.
