RISA 3D version 17 Perpetual License

All or Josh Plummer,
I just want to check with anybody in this forum who knows any company or individual that is willing to sell their perpetual RISA 3D license version 17 including the key?

I don't know of anyone.

At one point, I thought of starting a LinkedIn group for people who wanted to buy or sell an old RISA key. Keep in mind that this is totally within the license agreement of those older versions of RISA (I don't know if it's valid for their current license agreement).

The company (RISA Technologies, not the current RISA Tech / Nemetschek) allowed customers to do this many times while I was there. All they required was that the original owner sign a letter authorizing the transfer of the license.

That being said, I will suggest that a LinkedIn RISA user's group might be a better place for this discussion. Eng-Tips has been reticent to allow this type of thread to continue. While this doesn't violate the license agreements, they have typically felt that they don't want to "push the envelope" for this sort of thing.... they haven't reviewed the license agreements. It could open the door to similar discussions from vendors that do NOT allow this sort of license transfer.
