Hello,

i am newby in ansys snd i have some problem about rigid geometry in structural analysis.

In my case, i wanna give a force to a not deformable geometry and so it can force the other deformable geometry.

If i make a geometry as a rigid material (not deformable), is that means the geometry is fixed in displacement? cause i can make a fixed support on that geometry.
Also, is it means i can't give a force to the that gemoetry?

Give the rigid body a very high elastic modulus.

rigid and fixed are completly different things. you can use remote forces and displacements
