I’m attempting to perform a transient analysis of a connecting rod in Workbench with a mix of flexible and rigid parts and the results do not seem to be correct. I have several questions regarding the model setup:
•Should I maintain a joint connection between two flexible parts or allow the frictionless contact elements to transfer all loads?
•Should the rotational velocity be applied gradually over several load steps or can it be applied on one load step only. I’m wondering if this is causing the incorrect results.

Could you post some pictures of the setup and (in)correct results?
