RI measurement of glass fibres

Materials

Does anyone know how to measure the refractive index of a glass fibre (e-glass/s-glass etc)? I know how to source the refractive index matching liquids in a range of tiny bottles - but what do I do with them then? (literature seems to talk about GRIM technique - but no info. available).

Grateful for any help/direction
