I have a drawing which shows the thread of a hole to be RG1/2”. But R is the designation for tapered and G is the designation for parallel or straight. How can the bushing on the drawing be both straight and tapered at the same time? The detail on the left shows the (RG 1/2") however the detail on the right shows only (G) sizes. I'm not sure they are mating parts, but they were listed together for fabrication. I have no other information other than what is called out on the ISO spec. I have attached the references to both the (R) and the (G) for your everyones review, but then again this whole issue has stumped me.

Is it an ISO RG parralel gauge thread?

If so what Tap size do I use?
