Hi,
As everybody knows, the simulation doesn´t really math to the real thing in the lab. I am starting to design LNAs up to 2GHz with ADS. When I do the layout in PROTEL I do it adding all my knowledge about the impact it has in RF performance, but lately I have been thinking if there is any tool to be used to do a RF simulation using the final PCB layout. I know in ads for exemple you can put the transmission lines, taps, pcb material etc, but still it doesn´t take into account, I believe, the influence of other tracks for exemple. is there any way to do a PCB layout and then check the S parameters, noise, etc of that layout to assess exactly how it affects the overall performance?
Thanks.
