I am trying to set the column width on a custom Rev Table & then save the table template. No problem in doing so up front, saving the template, etc., but the undesired issue is these widths will be auto adjusted by SolidWorks when I reinsert the table in a drawing. Why does this occur after formatting the widths??? I simply need to reduce the widths to something that fits within the constraints as determined by my drawing template. Why is Rev Table.sldrevtbt auto adjusted regarding the column widths by SW upon insertion & how can I prevent this from happening or work with it to adjust some internal variable? Similar situation on the BOM template.

Any answers out there...........I feel like I'm being ignored.

Do a search here for "revision". I've seen it discussed before.

Please don't "bump" your thread. If no-one answered this or your previous identical question, (Formatting Rev Table-Column Widths??? thread559-150607) it's probably because no-one has a definitive answer for you.

This has been discussed before but no real solution was posted.

Use the Search button (the one between the Forum and FAQs buttons) and use column width as the keywords. Hopefully you will find something useful there.

Also, if you have subscription, place an Enhancement Request to SW.
