Hi everyone,
I'm working with a 3D scanned part in STL format and would like to convert it into a surface model entirely within Siemens NX, without using any external software like Rhino or MeshLab.
I'm using the Reverse Engineering application in NX, but I'm unsure about the best approach for mesh cleanup, surface creation, and turning the scan into a solid or clean surface model. I’d really appreciate any advice from those with experience on how to manage this process effectively.
If you have any documentation, video tutorials, or example workflows, I’d be very grateful if you could share them.
Thanks in advance!
