need to size restriction orifice for liquid service (water with some methanol). Upstream presure 500 psig/45 F, 62 lb/CF. Downstream pressure 0 to 50 psig. Is multiple restriction orificea way to go? How many? Took total DP thru a single RO, but beta was .14. Any suggestion?

Bollywood, my view is the following:
- Provided that the orifice hole is big enough (so it doesn't block) and thick enough (so it doesn't bend), then you only need one orifice.
- Vaporization in relatively thin orifices are unlikely. And even if it does occur to a small degree, not a significant problem.
