We are design a hydro powerplant with generator 18kV-600MV grounding by neutral grounding transformer with high resistance at the secondary.
I´m trying to limit ground fault between 5 to 15A to avoid overvoltage stress in generator winding.
Due the high capacitive from the generator, the current calculated is 30A.
I would like to use GROUND-FAULT NEUTRALIZER(GFN), but we never used it before, so we need adtional information about it to know if we are in the correct way.
I appreciate very much to hear some experience of GFN.
