Can someone help me to find out the residual strength of the hawser rope or chain. please refer me a formula for estimating the residual strength.
I have the data, initial strength= 400tonnes, A and B constant for our HMPE rope is 0.12 and 3. Loads and no of cycles are recorded at the real time using amplifier.
so this is the data i have. Thanks in advance.

Performing an inelasitc finite element analysis should solve the residual stress.
