For the last couple of weeks, at the same time everyday I get a message that states "required source" and then shuts down solidworks. Why is it all of sudden doing this, what is it looking for. It seems to be when we are saving files, the files are on the network, but no one else is having this issue at our company.

It probably has to do with "Desktop resources" and not RAM.

Shut down as many apps as you can and/or apps (processes) running in the background and see if that helps.

What Version of SW are you using? I don't Care what video card is any of them can run SW in software open GL. Do you have multiple versions of SW on machine?

To get more detail on error if you haven't already Run "eventvwr" from Run command and look at Application or System errors. When I installed 2010 on my machine I got the following error when launching program. Your error may be reelated to the Source missing in Shortcut. This information is recorded when using SolidWorks RX to capture problems and may give more information that you'll find useful or that your VAR will.

I have SW 2007 on this machine. I deleted the temp files today and it is still getting the same message. I will look at the event logs and see if I can see any errors.
