Required information from residential architect

I have been struggling lately with getting a decent set of plans from my architectural clients (big surprise). I was wondering if anyone had a good list I could present to the architect for information that would facilitate the structural design. Also it would be helpful to site any architectural standards as required information on a preliminary or if nothing else a construction document set. Here are a few I came up with.

[li]Building elevations showing plate height, and finish materials
Roof plan showing roof system, dimension of eave, and pitch
Reflected ceiling plan with ceiling treatments.
building section with dimeansions showing floor system materials, interstitial space.

In my experience no list will help. If you have an Architect who is giving you garbage and you push back, the Architect will find someone who won't.

I've been the Eng they run to more often than run from, which I suppose makes me the bad guy... But I've made a reasonable success of giving clients what they want, even if that isn't always easy.
