Hi, I'm hoping someone can help... I'm new to Creo from Solidworks and am having a lot of trouble. I'm trying to replace a part in an assembly that drives an external part via the Cut Out feature in the assembly file. I can replace the actual part in the assembly, but it doesn't change the cutout feature within the part it's supposed to remove mat'l from. When I try to edit the Cut Out feature in the part itself, it doesn't give me the option to choose a different part/model. The only file that shows up is the original part that I replaced in the assembly, not the new part.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and maybe give me the most efficient way of doing this?

Thanks,

Matt

You'll need to remove the old cut feature and perform the cut operation with the new part.
