We used to manufacture a seismograph with an ALPs PTMPG2104A plotter carriage. Pens are impossible to find but I would concider replacing the carriage with something compatable. But if someone might know of a source for pen that would be great. Pens are 5mm diam x 23mm length, black ball point. Tandy 26-1480 was the old source and part# for the pens. These are the same pens used in a Commodore 1520 printer, Atari 1020, Tandy CGP-115, Oric MCP40, Mattel Aquarius printer, Sharp CE-150 w/sharp pen # EA-850B, etc...
If I can't find pens then I need to find a replacement
carriage. Who manufactures Strip Chart carriages these days?
I searched extensively on the Web but only got companies that use the carriages for their products.
