Replaceable Machinery Anchoring 1

I have an application for a large motor (4000HP) mounted to 10 ft aboveground concrete foundation and am looking for a anchor method/style which would allow for replacement of (at least) the visible portion of the anchor bolts if they are damaged (which they have been previously). The foundation will be brand new, so any style installation will work. This replacement would not be often - annually at most often.

I'd suggest anchoring a "C" channel frame to the concrete using anchor bolts to it or welding studs to the bottom of the channel so the it can be tied into the re-bar.
With access to the top flange you can easily replace the bolt and nut.

How about internally-threaded inserts? Hilti has some values for these using their HIT RE 500 epoxy. You'll probably have to verify the factor of safety to use since you probably have dynamic loading. I would imagine that as long as you don't damage the insert itself you could unscrew the threaded rod anchor and replace it as needed.

Expansion bolts may also work though I would probably go with something else for dynamic loading. Some anchors however, certain Hilti anchors for instance, are qualified for use in dynamic loading situations.
