We kindly need advice regarding of
using fullsole to repair crack in joint weldment pipe 46 inch diam instead of repairing by cutting & rewelding?

If you want to weld a plate over the crack a lot more information is needed

It may be fine if it’s a temporary repair for an existing equipment to prepare an O&M plan. It may not be preferred if it’s the weld defect on a new equipment.

Not removing the crack, can cause more Cracks if just welded.
