Render & Animate using 3ds Max

I am trying to animate some proe parts using 3DSMax then quest3d but I am having trouble importing the proe models into 3dsmax.


I have tried using Okino polytrans but it seem a lond winded way of doing it and when it finally comes in there are around 50000 polys per part.





Can someone point me in the right direction

I jut use standard Stl file.. play around with the chord length and angle to get a quality you are happy with!
 
OBJ export works okay for me. Just remember to select the coordinate system first.
