Removing chamfers from hole pattern 1

Hello everyone!

Let's assume we have a circular patern of holes, which are chamfered. Is it possible to somehow select all chamfers automatically for the Deleta Face synchronous command?

If all the chamfers where created at once (or in succession), you could just delete the feature(s) from the history tab?
Obviously that assumes that no other geometry is dependant on the chamfers.

It is possible to select all the chamfer faces at the same time if the face finder filter is available in the menu.

If it's a Pattern of holes where the original (master) hole had an included chamfer (as part of the definition of the hole), just go back and edit the original (master) hole and toggle OFF the chamfer option.

Sorry for not making myself clear from the start. Obviously I referred to the situation when we have a dumb solid. Is it possible to avoid selecting chamfers one by one and pick them all at once?

What version of NX are you using?

There is one trick that you could try. If we're talking about something like a flat plate with a bunch of holes with chamfers, you could make sure that you're Multi-Select rule is set to Rectangle and Inside. And then with the 'Allow Multi-Select of Hidden Bodies and Faces' icon on your Selection Bar toggled ON, just rotate the model around so that you're looking at it from the side and then area select just the upper half where the chamfers are located and then hit the 'Delete Face' button. Now you may have to deselect the top face of your model before you actually select the 'Delete Face' item but this can help with what you're doing. Of course, if you've got chemfers on both the front and back side of the model, you may have to perform this task a couple of times to get them all.

It's too bad we cannot utilize detail filtering on the delete face menu like it is available on the other (mostly older) functions, that way we could filter out only conical faces (the chamfer on the hole) and delete those.
