Relationship between ISO 1940 and AGMA 9000 cl 9 balance grades

This is regarding required balance grade for couplings.
Please explain the relationship between ISO 1940 and AGMA 9000 balance grades.

In case ISO balance grade (say 6.3) and AGMA 9000 balance grade (Cl 9)
both are specified, which one is stringent.
