Relation between parts

i have got another question..

When i have an assembly witch for example 4 parts, can i somehow link them together so when i change 1 of those parts for example from 1000mm to 800mm that al the parts adjust to the same lenght? this would be very usefull for me because is often have to change things in my ass. and now i keep changing part after part and that cost a lot of time..

Do the assembly in Top-down method. So that all the parts are linked with each other.
