reflux condenser

I need to size two condensers (one is a reflux condenser) and a cooler for the condensers, but I have never done this before and am unsure where to start and so any advice would be appreciated. We are pumping a nitrate through a kiln to convert it to an oxide. The off-gas is sent through two condensers and a scrubber. There are both condensables and non-condensables in the system.

I'm assuming you are a degreed chemical engineer; as such, you must mean process design when you state "size". If you don't, and you really mean mechanical design, then state so. Otherwise, we will all be here for several days, battering information back and forth, trying to guess what it is that you mean. For example, are you specifying the exchangers for a quote from an expert fabricator; or are you going to try to process design and mechanically design/fabricate the exchangers yourself? I hope you are not attempting the latter.

By "a cooler for the condensers", do you mean to say you are using a subcooler[/u] for the saturated product exiting the two condensers? You say "there are both condensables and non-condensables in the system". Does this mean non-condensables in the condensers and the subcooler? It makes a big difference!

I recommend you clear up your query with some clear English first so that we all can understand what basic data you are furnishing. You may not be furnishing enough data. Once we know the correct, and clear story we can start to work on the problem.
