recoomendation for oil and gas courses, training center or school

i would like to change my major to oil and gas (production operations or well/drilling)engineering. please can anyone recommed a good training school or courses to attended for maximum of six months. i have relative experience in that field.

Where are you located?

Petroleum engineering is a standard major offered at any number of colleges. It sure isn't a 6 month program, though.
