To expand my knowledge on Electrical Engr subjects, I am assuming a new role as Protection and Control Engineer. I am told I’d be dealing with a lot of relay setting calculations and communication network issues involving, RTUs.
What book/material would you recommend for me to not only get familiar with this area but also to have a good understanding of relay protection/ relay setting calculations etc. I also want to know more about communication. Relays here being both electromechanical and microprocessor based.
I have worked with some electromechanical relays in the past, but never dealt with the calculation of their setpoints. Never dealt with Scada or RTUs.
