I have a low production cellphone case that needs the right plastic. I have tried a polyurethane of 72d and it was too bendy and snapped when bent too far. Basically the plastic is far too weak. I wanted to know what to do next, should i find a better polyurethane resin or fill the resin i got with fiberglass? I read on the forum bout cast nylon, but i cannot find any liquid forms of it, is that even an option? I need something atleast as hard and durable as abs but after hours of searching i can't find a straight answer.

What process are you using, or if not yet decided what do you mean by 'low production'.

This may have a significant impact on material choiced.

Posting guidelines faq731-376 (probably not aimed specifically at you)

This is for a rtv mold, low production of around one hundred pcs.

I went to my plastic store and they recomended. Task 9 as the hardest thing they got in poly so i took it. Its setting now, unfortunately it takes 60 min so its very slow. I also got glass powder, the guy said that stuff makes the plastic tougher.D
