Does anyone have the formula for correcting rebound hammer readings for angle (horiz/vertical)?

It should be on the hammer? Isn't there a chart showing position A,B & C? My hammer is on loan, otherwise I would scan the manual and send it to you.

Yes of coz but practically if you consider general angle if Hammer interface it should attain the required strength and accordingly can consider with the Strength of concrete.

Guzzlepot...as Splitrings noted, it is on a scale on the side of the hammer, or for "off-brands", in the manual.

Vinbridge....without regard to what the manufacturer's scales indicate, the rebound hammer should not be used to determine concrete strength. It is used to determine the consistency of the hardened concrete, which can be used as an indicator to select locations for more accurate testing such as coring for compressive strength.

Guzzlepot .... There is no such thing as general formula for the hammer. Each one should be calibrated and print with a chart that should be on the side of the hammer or in the manual. Otherwise, you could request from the manufacturer. The chart looks similar to this link.

Again DO NOT use this chart for your hammer!

I also want to share a data sheet for the Standard Method for Rebound Numer of of Handened Concrete as per attached.

Please read ASTM C805-02 for more information for this test using the hammer.

Further to the above, would also suggest that you search the site for "Schmidt Hammer" or "Rebound Hammer". This issue has been discussed thoroughly a number of times over the last several years.
