I just started using RAM Concept (using RAM Structural System) and I am having difficulties back checking the program's results. I modeled a two way slab roof system for an underground vault room and I am getting a huge quantity of rebar in my column strip. So, I checked the moment and the amount of steel reinforcement provided by the program and it comes out to almost double of what is required based on moment capacity. Has anyone had similar issues?

Perhaps it's not strength governed. Check what the governing code clause is and also audit the offending cross section.

Good tip Trenno.
The most common error is designating the design strips to be considered PT when that are only meant to be mild RC slabs.
