As specialty equipment OEMs often times want the customer believe the design of tooling for their machinery is a "black art", I'm looking to accelerate my learning curve.
Is there a rule of thumb for the maximum hammer edge angle (relative to hammer face) for:
1. Plunging into the billet?
2. Forge-out traveling down the length of the billet?
