I was looking at slide gloves (for longboarding) and I came across this pair of gloves that I'd never seen any others like before: The thing that is unique about it is the fingers. They are dipped in plastic as opposed to having a big thing of plastic across all of the fingers (like the other styles on the site). I wanted to try and make my own pair like these. Does anyone know of any durable plastics that the fingers could be "dipped" into?

Agree with Pat. Though you could try urethane or epoxy "dip" coating...

plastidip is sold at the hardware store.

If Plasdip is what I think it is, ie a dip coating for tool handles etc, it is a PVC plastisol.

Regards
Pat
